ABOUT THE NEW EXHAUST

The mufflers were designed and tested to meet the strict, European noise standards. HKS has done a lot of development on these to dramatically reduce the noise of the engine with no power loss... In conjunction with the 3.47:1 gearbox offered by HKS, the new mufflers make for a very quiet package, something that is getting more and more important.

The Type 1 exhaust, used on trikes, tractors and PPC’s now incorporates a ball socket to allow longer life. The Type 5, which was designed for Quicksilver and Challenger-type installations, has an internal two-into-one for maximum performance and simple installation. Both mufflers feature attractive aluminum electroplated coatings for corrosion resistance.
